HOW MUCH SLEEP DO I NEED?

The amount of sleep we need varies throughout our life. It averages at around 15 hours a day as a small child reducing to around 10 hours as a teenager and then about 8 hours in later life. Some people are natural ‘short sleepers’ and require less than average to be refreshed. Mental or physical stress can increase the amount you need.
